Balmar APM devices provide intelligent, robust, solid state protection in a small, easily mounted package at the rear of the alternator between the B+ and B- terminals.  Balmar APM devices can be used to protect all alternator brands.  Click on the attached manual for installation instructions.

FEATURES

The Balmar APM provides intelligent protection against voltage spikes and over-voltage events that can damage alternator electronics. It uses solid-state circuitry to absorb repeated high-energy surges without failure, protects internal regulators and diodes, and alerts the user with visual and audible warnings if replacement is required. Its compact design allows easy installation directly on the alternator, and it is suitable for use with any alternator brand and battery chemistry, including lithium systems.
