The P79S brings advanced depth intelligence to your boat with Airmar Smart Sensor technology. Embedded microelectronics process depth data inside the sensor, delivering accurate readings directly to your onboard network for use on multiple displays. Available in NMEA 0183 or NMEA 2000 output formats, the P79S simplifies installation with a single cable connection.

This in-hull transducer includes a plastic mounting base aligned to the boat’s centerline and filled with non-toxic antifreeze. The transducer is inserted and adjusted for the correct deadrise, ensuring the sonar beam points straight down for maximum echo returns. Its in-hull design eliminates hull protrusions, making it ideal for trailered or lifted boats. Recommended for smaller boats up to 8 m (25') with solid fiberglass hulls.
