Mercury FourStroke outboard motors are incredibly powerful and efficient, and they feature a wide range of applications. Crafted for less weight and high displacement, they generate abundant torque and immediate power. And because they don’t have to work as hard as heavier engines or those with lower displacement, they make boats plane faster and accelerate better, and they provide optimal fuel efficiency at cruising speed.

High-Output Alternator

A powerful alternator – 60 amps on the 150hp outboard and 35 amps on 75 to 115hp outboards – helps keep batteries charged and your onboard electronics running all day.


Extra Charging Power

Idle charge battery-management technology on the 150hp engine automatically increases idle rpm to boost alternator output and recharge low batteries. 


Command Thrust Gearcase

Available for the 90 and 115hp outboards, the Command Thrust gearcase is designed to turn larger props. It helps get heavy boats on plane more easily and hold them there at lower speeds without impacting top speed.


Tiller Handle

With a range of adjustments and ergonomic controls, the available advanced tiller for 90 to 115hp models or Big Tiller for the 150hp engine puts you in complete command of your adventures.


Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI)

From the moment you crank the engine to the moment you drop the throttle, EFI technology responds with instant power. Surefire starting in all weather conditions. Smooth, efficient acceleration. Maximum capability.
